Serenity Midwives
Amie Storm LM, CPM
Amie Storm has been immersed in birth work since 2008, attending over 600 births in her 17 years of experience. She became a Certified Professional Midwife and Idaho Licensed Midwife in 2018 and has been honored to serve families in the North Idaho birth community ever since.
Her journey began in healthcare as a phlebotomist, where she developed skills that now support her clinical practice. But it was witnessing a home birth at age 18 that first ignited her passion for midwifery—a calling that only deepened through her own experience of giving birth to her three children at home with a midwife.
Amie is certified in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and actively participates in local peer review. She brings a grounded, compassionate presence to each birth, believing deeply in every woman’s right to choose where and how she births. For Amie, midwifery is more than a profession—it’s part of who she is.
HazelTree Midwifery
Kim Palmer LM, CPM
A Pacific Northwest native, Kim has been involved in birth work since 1995, bringing decades of experience as a doula, student midwife, and licensed midwife in both Idaho and Washington. She became a Certified Professional Midwife in 2012 and is an active member of the Idaho Midwifery Council and NACPM.
Outside of midwifery, she loves camping, gardening, creating, and spending time with her husband of over 35 years, their two daughters, and beloved grandchildren. Her heart for global service takes her to Kenya annually, where she supports education and menstrual health initiatives for girls and collaborates with Maasai midwives on continuing education.
Juniper Midwifery
Kasha deRoos LM, CPM
Since 2017, Kasha has had the privilege of serving nearly 400 families in the Coeur d’Alene and Spokane area as a doula, student midwife, and now as a licensed midwife. Trained through the traditional apprenticeship model, she earned her Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) credential in 2021, became licensed in Idaho in 2022, and was later licensed in Washington, receiving an expanded license in 2025 for basic prescriptive authority and extended well-person care. We are a proud teaching practice and most actively have student midwives integrated in to client care.
Her midwifery practice is rooted in honoring client autonomy, providing evidence-based education, and supporting truly informed consent. Midwifery, for her, is both a calling and a way to live out her values: advocacy, connection, and community-centered care.
Outside of birth work, she enjoys spending time with her spirited daughter and their two Australian shepherds. You can often find her hiking local trails, diving into a new book, or enjoying live music.
Full Moon Midwifery
Alicia Hoxie LM, CPM + Ginger Cullen BSM, LM, CPM

After briefly exploring nursing, she felt called to more personalized, holistic care and enrolled at the National Midwifery Institute in 2020.
She trained under experienced midwives across North Idaho, Spokane, and Northern Nevada, attending over 100 births. In 2023, Alicia earned her CPM credential and became a Licensed Midwife in Idaho.
Alicia is deeply committed to supporting informed choice and honoring each person's autonomy in birth. She believes in the power of education and presence, and is passionate about helping women birth with confidence, dignity, and support.
